House of Investors is a real estate wealth house in Hyderabad, Telangana. This policy tells you what we do with personal data. We wrote it in plain English.

Who is responsible for your data?

House of Investors is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data on this page, as defined in India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What do we collect?

When you contact us

When you use the enquiry form, WhatsApp, a phone call or email, we collect what you give us. This is your name, email address, phone number, the goal you choose and your message. We also record the page you sent it from, and the page that sent you to our site.

When you use the Wealth Snapshot

The Snapshot asks about your money and your goals, to give you a result. We collect the answers that you enter.

Automatically, when you browse

We use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel, through Google Tag Manager. These tools put cookies and similar identifiers on your device. They collect your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type. They also collect the pages you see, the time on each page and how you came to the site. They also record when you click a WhatsApp, phone or email link, and when you send the form.

These tools do not give us your name or contact details. They report what visitors do, not who they are.

What gives us the right to use it?

For enquiries and advice, we use your data because you asked us to, and because we need it to give you what you asked for. For analytics and advertising, we use your consent. You give it when you continue to use the site. You can withdraw it at any time, as the section on cookies below explains. For records that the law tells us to keep, we use our legal obligations.

Who do we share it with?

We do not sell your personal data. We never have.

We share it only in these situations:

• Developers and their teams, where you have asked us to progress a specific property, and only the details needed for that transaction.
• Professional advisors such as lawyers, chartered accountants and documentation specialists, where an engagement requires it.
• Service providers who operate parts of our infrastructure: our hosting provider, our email provider, Google, and Meta. They act on our instructions.
• Authorities, where the law requires disclosure.

Google and Meta process data on servers outside India. When you use the site with analytics and advertising on, you agree to this transfer.

What are cookies, and how do I turn them off?

This site has two groups of cookies. The first group makes the site work. The second group measures visits and shows advertising. Only the second group is optional. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are in the second group.

To refuse or delete them, change your browser settings, use private mode, or install a tracker blocker. Google also gives an opt-out add-on for Analytics. If you block these cookies, you can still read the site and contact us.

How long do we keep it?

• Enquiries that do not become engagements: three years from your last contact with us.
• Client records: eight years after the engagement ends, which is what tax and financial record-keeping requires.
• Analytics data: as per the retention period set in Google Analytics, currently fourteen months.
• Marketing lists: until you ask to come off them.

How do we protect it?

The site uses HTTPS. We save form enquiries in a file outside the public web folder, so a browser cannot reach it. Only the people at House of Investors who need enquiry and client records can see them.

No system is fully secure. If a data breach can affect you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the Act requires.

What are your rights?

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data of yours we hold and who we have shared it with;
• correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything incomplete;
• erase data we no longer need for the purpose you gave it for;
• stop using your data where you had given consent, by withdrawing that consent;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated.

To use any of these rights, email admin@hoinvestors.com. We reply within 30 days. There is no charge.

Who do I complain to?

If you are not happy with how we used your data, write to our Grievance Officer at admin@hoinvestors.com. Put "Grievance" in the subject line. If we do not solve the problem, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

What about children?

This site is for adults who make financial decisions. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child gave us data, tell us and we will delete it.

Can this policy change?

If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is important, we will tell everyone whose contact details we have.
